Someone says to another, “The sunrise is absolutely beautiful today!”
The other person replies, “Oh yeah? I can’t see it. Where is it?”
The first person answers, “I don’t know. I haven’t seen it yet.”
The second person remarks, “Then, how can you say that it is beautiful when you haven’t seen it?”
The first person declares, “Because I have seen it before. And it is known everywhere to be beautiful.”
The qualities of beauty, goodness, harmony, intelligence, love, and so on never change, disappear, or diminish. They are not available only to a select few, such as those labeled as saints, sages, and gurus. Since you have expressed these qualities before, you also prove their constant infinite presence. And even if you do not see them in others. They are there.
