Self-knowledge

What are you?

Really imagine a cup holding the entire Atlantic Ocean, without losing a single drop.

What makes you lovable?

That is a trick question.

Lovability is not a measure.

Being lovable is an inherent state of being that we find within ourself.

If you must ask that question,

Sit still. Look within yourself until the answer embraces you.

The Self is the abundant treasure hidden beneath piles and piles of ideas and personalities.

If you’re ready for this treasure, roll up your sleeves, and use the shovel of self-observation to empty the ground the Self waits in.

P.S. – When you find it, the whole world will be richer.

Can you find peace?

Hint: It’s in the room where you find the origin of your thoughts.

Can you find the origin of your thoughts?

Close your eyes and go look.

The mind does not distinguish reality from unreality.

To it, shadows are ghosts and ghosts are real.

The ego interprets the contents of the mind for its own purpose.

To it, shadows can sometimes be ghosts, depending on the desired outcome and on who is involved.

The Self observes the mind, its contents, the ego, its interpretations, and desired outcomes.

It is the space for all these things without being these things. It stays out of their business, being Truth all the time.

I am the unending unfolding of not knowing.

What I am is not known, and I am progressing, moment by moment, towards the realization of what I am.

As I allow Love, the Infinite Ocean of Love, the all-inclusive and expansive cosmic wave of Love consciousness, to be in the foreground of my lived experience, of my being in the world, then I will be more of what I am, as opposed to what I think that I am.

I am ever moving towards that which I do not know, but am.
