Faster than the speed
Of my thoughts and actions,
Is Life’s unmoving gift
Of freedom.
So, do not go anywhere
Sit still and accept it.

I grab a cushion,
Sit still,
And move from my head
Via my heart
To arrive at home in the Self.
Be you
Yes, find yourself
Resting inside your own heart
To free your soul, close off the mind;
To close off the mind,
Become empty as the space in the sky.
There is a universal impersonal and impartial Principle that is always at work everywhere,
Which the mind tries to obscure with all kinds of tricks.
Look beyond the fog of the mind to see the real Treasure.
Peace comes from repeated visits to your inner world;
Unconditional, infinite Love is experienced by knowing who lives there;
And everlasting joy comes when you take up residence there.
The waves rise, fall and rush on,
Nothing changes about the Ocean.
Imagine your True Self as the Ocean.
Find that part of you that can see the whole world through closed eyes.
Then you will know perfect peace.
Silent sitting is like emptying and gently scrubbing a muddy jar until it becomes sparkly clean.
Think of the way you feel when you see your beloved, eat your favorite food, or listen to that song that always touches your heart.
Close your eyes.
Imagine it.
Then magnify that feeling to your full potential.
Keep going.
Feel your head and heart burn a little.
Good.
Now you have the smallest idea of the magnitude of the Infinite One’s unceasing Love for you.
